The Read API allows recipients to read item data from the Item Management platform via an M2M API. This is essentially a READ API for the Item Management platform.

The Content1 API supports the following output formats.

• Search
  • This method allows recipients to search for items via keyword
  • Items are returned up to 500 at a time
  • Only a limited number of attributes are returned
• Fetch
  • Retrieves all of the attributes for a single item

• The Read API is used by recipients to see item data published to their own GLN
